We believe that, as the only species capable of consciously planning and organizing our societies to be sustainable and just, we have a responsibility to do so. This is not a question of political ideology, right or left, but simply about doing what is necessary instead of what is expedient or routine. We must act together to ensure our continued survival and success as a species.

We believe that that there is no true peace without justice. To achieve meaningful peace, we must first rethink what it means to say that all people are equal, and we must actually act on that understanding. Doing so requires us to embrace not only what we have in common, but what differentiates us as well, to recognize that we are all connected not just by our origins and our history, by our only planet and our ultimately shared fate, but also by the incredible cultural and genetic diversity that together defines humanity.

We believe that our greatest challenge is one of imagination and vision. The hardest thing of all may be to understand that another world really is possible - not only possible, but necessary. Only when we can step outside of our everyday routines and habits and see them for what they are, historical contingencies instead of some natural order, can we hope to affect real change.

Welcome to the Human Party. Let's get to work.
